 1 Greetings 
Good afternoon. / Hello! How are you? / Fine, thank you.
 Model the greetings with one student. Continue with the rest of the class.
  Explain the difference between Good-morning and Good-afternoon using illustlations on a blackboad.


Encourage Ss to do the greetings with you. Praise when they try out.

 2 Greetings 
 I'm Kuni. I'm a boy. / I'm Akari. I'm a girl.
 Model the greetings with one student. Continue with the rest of the class.


Help Ss when necessary.

     Clap Clap     
  Clap one time as saying true statements.    I'm Kuni. I'm a boy. →  Clap.
Clap two times as saying false statements.  I'm Kuni. I'm a Girl.  → Clap Clap.  
   
    5  4 Book 
   『Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?』(Eric Carle)

   Hold up the book and ask "What animals appeare in this book?" Have Ss raise hands and answer.
    Then read out the story to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star "
