 (1) Name animals in English.
  (2) Name colors in English.
3 Materials Needed
 「Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See ?」(Eric Carle)

 1 The cover
 Hold up the book and read the title saying, "The title of this book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? ". Then turn over the page.

 The page of colors
  Point to the lines of colors and encourage Ss name the colors in English.   
brown  red  yellow  blue  green  purple  white  black  gold
   Have Ss say the colors several times in randam order.

Encourage Ss to say colors aloud.
 3 Read the story (1st time)
bear  bird  duck  horse  frog  
cat  dog  sheep  goldfish  monkey
 Read out the story . Encourage Ss guess the next animal showing a small part of the next page.

Help Ss with gestures of animals if necessary.
 Read the story (2nd time)  
Read out the story to the tune of  "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"

 Ask "What animal do you like best in this book?"and have Ss raise their hands.
